Wilbert is Founder of Hamilton Wealth Advisors, the first black-owned investment firm. His passion for helping our clients plan for multigenerational wealth guides the way we work and the quality of every relationship we foster. Since 2005, his thoughtful guidance has helped an array of clients — from families to professional athletes to institutional and religious organizations, and beyond. With each person and organization, Wilbert’s personalized support helps them identify the strategies they need to move their financial priorities forward.
Across his relationships, Wilbert is thorough in his guidance and process driven in his support. He believes that transparency is a key factor in enabling our clients to meet their goals. From answering questions to educating them on important financial topics and more, Wilbert makes himself available to help our clients understand the details they care about. He is well versed in how to design financial plans unique to each individual and also brings deep experience in retirement plan development, management, and financial donor and planning giving programs.
A Montgomery native, Wilbert and his wife, Tiffany, have three sons, Kolby, Max, and Beau. When not in the office, Wilbert enjoys spending time with family, attending his sons’ sports games, and traveling.
Wilbert earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and holds both securities and insurance licenses. He has been featured in prominent national publications such as Bloomberg, Money, & Fortune and has been a speaker along with making appearances on nationally aired show “The Balancing Act” with Montell Williams, WVTM ABC, WSFA, and other leading news stations in the southeast. Wilbert is also actively involved in his community teaching financial literacy in organizations such as The Potters House Church and serving on several boards, including the YMCA Jimmy Hitchcock Award for Christian Leadership. In addition, he is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and 100 Black Men of America.
